Changing tire

What do you use to jack your truck up to change a tire?
We need something we take with us.

Is this a trick question?
I use a floor JACK.

Best rule of thumb is use your jack before you leave home, if lifting the front end of your truck in your driveway under good conditions is tough with the jack you pick. It will be really tough in the cold rain and dark on the side of the road in the mud.

No it is trick question. At hme I will use a floor jack with jack stands.
But what do you use when you are not at home.
say in another state. I can not carry our floor jack with us traveling.

Well then test your jack choice at home before you trust it to work on the road.
I have used heavy duty bottle jacks in my on road tool kit. Other times a bring an aluminum “racing” style floor jack, but I test that it can handle the ### of the Cummins motor and front end before I leave on my trip.

Do you not have the jack under the passenger seat the vehicle came with?
