xenon and bi-xenon, HID ?????

I know very little about lighting systems.
Could someone explain to me the difference between xenon and bi-xenon?
My truck has H13 bulbs and would like better lighting conditions, especially when lights are on bright. The dim/fog selector is not too bad.

HID xenon the same or different?
Can HID be used legally?

I have found some on e-bay but really don't know what to buy and which would be reliable and last many years.

Thanks,

Xenon is HID (i.e., High Intensity Discharge). I have them on my '06. They mak great H13 replacements; I highly recommend them!

HID is not only legal, it is comes stock on dozens and dozens of cars.

You should definitely get them; they make a world of difference.

Bi-xenon means that both the high beams and the low beams are xenon instead of just having the low beams be xenon and the highs be regular halogen bulbs.
