Wow drives like a vette

Bought the 03 2500 4wd with 150,000 6 months ago, ran ok, but developed the death wobble 2 weeks, ago found bad ball joints and tie rod ends. Replaced them all and the front brakes this weekend, and wow its like a new truck no more wobble , no more rattles and steers so nice. Quite a pain in the butt to change but well worth it found all the parts in MOOG with a warranty.

That's good to hear!! Did you do all the work by yourself? If so, how long did it take?

Yep I was a auto tech for GM in a former life, have not worked on cars in along time but I have spent so much on the truck lately been doin the repairs myself. Heater core, ac doors, fuel control switch, radiator, triple dog w/outlook, the audio, and now the ball joints, tie rods, and brakes. Bought the truck for $5000.00 and spent another $4000.00 in 6 months, but I am determined to win doin the tranny next (having it done) and that should get it for a while, I hope.

Glad you got rid of the wobble but must have been a typo. Im sure you meant to say "drives like a Viper" instead of Vette (this being a Dodge site and all)

Owned one along time ago, a '94 before the wife and kids, and driven many while working @ Chevy/GM dealers for 5 years as a drivability tech. For those with a sense of humor that was a JOKE, ya know funny. And I would imagine that we all know our trucks don't drive like a vette or for that matter a chevette but it drives alot better than it did before I changed the worn front end parts and the "death wobble" is gone for now.
