Would like to add mud flaps

Does anyone have any suggestions on style, brand and where to buy mud flaps for truck in sig. I live on a dirt road and the wife tows her horse trailer in the rain and in the mountains of Colorado we would like to keep the mud off of the trailer.

if you want to keep mud off the trailer, you can look into those full width flaps that rv'ers use that slide around the receiver hitch. that way you can remove them when not pulling the trailer. The flaps that are molded for that truck don't do squat so you would have to go with a rubber big aresed flap and would look ugly (IMHO).

Build your own. A little angle iron, and a couple of the tractor trailer mud flaps. Whole set-up cost me $25. And towed from Alaska to Illinois and they worked great. I'll try posting a pic when I get to the home computer...

I have the 14" wide extra long Duraflaps on my rig, and love them. Super easy to install, very durable. They are fairly rigid, and do not bend up and defeat their purpose at highway speeds. I like them, and the company is a small company with good coustomer service. Hard to find these days!

I have been in contact with Duraflap for my truck when I lift it and install the 44" tires with custom weights. Would be $150 with the custom weights and flaps. Nina is cool to chat with as well. nina at duraflap dot com is her email.

I put the cummins flaps on my truck, they are inexpensive and meet the legal requirements for mud-flaps and I like the big blue cummins logo, but they pobably aren't fancy enough for most folks.

Try looking at the Rock Tamer, they go over your reciever hitch. There great if you don't want the flaps on all the time, Cabela's has them for about $190.
