Wipers can come off during snow storm!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the wiper arms can detach from the wiper motor thing that sticks up just in front of the windshield. I was driving home during the big snow storm(almost blizzard) a couple weeks ago and the snow had frozen around the gear that the wiper blade hooks onto and the wiper blade popped off the truck on the highway! They are very easy to take off. All you have to do is push the clip to the side and pull it off. Just make sure there is no snow/ice around the gear part and you should be good to go!

Yeah watch out for the ice buildup around the shaft area, It will catch on the release for the wiper arm. and poof. Nothing major. But scared me the first time.
