Windecker Steering Stabilizer
Has anyone used/have a Windecker Machine Steering Stabilizer? They are based out of Welby (spelling?!) Canada. Do they work well? Where can you buy them at? How much? Are you happy with it? Was it hard to install?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I did a google search for it and came up with the same product as the Darrins (?spelling) steering stabilizer or very very similar too it. You can get them from a number of vendors on the web. And to answer your question yes they do work and yes they are a very nice part.

The question becomes do you need a new steering stabilizer. From what I've heard, is that the stock one work fine up to 33" inch tires. If you go bigger than that you would need to look to the aftermarket, to get a more robust unit.

The Windecker steering brace is one of the first things I put on my 3rd gen. It ties the front of the frame together and supports the steering box sector shaft via a special nut and bearing. Fantastic piece and it will make your steering box much happier.
