Wife hit something
I was ****** when my g/f, first time ever driving the truck, hit a curb, bend a rim, and blew out my brand new BFG M/T. But, as stated above, the truck can be fixed and luckily I have a friend in the wheel business.
04, maybe you should look into adding a flatbed. It would be able to withstand some hits better than the truckbed.

First wife can drive
I've only had my CTD for 3 years 97 days 17 hours or so which equates to about 96k miles. I have offered her the opportunity to drive on many occasions, including about every other day on our x-country trip in year one and the AK trip last year pullin the Fox.
The only time she even sat in the driver's seat was to assist in bleeding the brakes. My petit babe is very content to be the passenger. Maybe that will change some day and she will drive it once or twice. Who's counting?

She always complains when I park my truck at the very far end of a parking lot and we have to walk. So now I drop her off at the entrance and go park - this has two advantages: 1) she thinks I'm being a gentleman by dropping her off at the door, and 2) I have a couple of minutes time by myself during the walk from the truck into the store :-)

Same here, I may get mad, I may get upset, but it's only a truck ( I get upset cause it's taken me 9 years to save up for it) but as mentioned above, would use it to save lives.
Kinda like my girl putting the nose of her car into a concrete wall parking garage, i just got out quietly, she came up to me gave me a back rub and we didn't mention it again (except to say her plate fell off and to go pick it up)

I guess I need to clarify - - - before SOMEHOW my wife reads this and I get in trouble.
My wife is a very good driver; she has no problem driving my truck - neither the 6 spd, nor the size bother her. She's told me she gets a lot more looks (she's 5'8" blond hair / green eyes (I think) and weighs about 110 lbs. - still don't know why she married me) when she's driving my truck than when she's driving her car.
And, I must admit, when she does drive my truck she does park it at the end of parking lots and walks.
So there - hopefully that will keep me out of the dog house.
