No deal in my neck of the woods. They all want MSRP minus the rebate and will go no further. I'll keep my 04.5.

 

i was able to get a price of $38k with MSRP of 45k from a local dealer without even bargaining but.... it didnt have some of the stuff i wanted so i went to another dealer way out of state and got

a truck with a 47K MSRP for 36k without any negotiating. BUT i had to pay taxes and shipping

 

I know I could go out of state for a new truck, but will choke when it comes time to pay the taxes on it. Maybe I will find a deal on a truck after the winter.

 

the deal with buying out of state was... In Indiana, if you fly in or wtvr, if you drive the vehicle off the lot you have to pay indiana sales tax plus your state sales tax if that state requires it under the circumstances....

The only way to get around that in IN was to have the vehicle shipped...

 

Just go through costco its the cheapest and easiest. All it takes is a phone call.

I got mine ($51K sticker) for $40K in So Cal., Union Dodge: $3.5K Dodge discount and $7.5K Dealer discount. I found them on the internet and they were advertising $11K off. This was back in August, no 08's availabe there at that time. No haggling.

 

they talked me into ext warranty for $500 and i have had 0 luck every time i need something;a/c,dash cluster,pwr steering,jake x2,recirc door,etc.but every time they see me they sure want to sell me another truck!

 

I wish I could find 14k off the sticker. It would be a done deal.
No love up here in Seattle.
