Iv'e been wondering about the gear ratios in my new truck. . . .so. . .I find the three stickers on the drivers door frames, tires, wieght VIN etc. I find the sticker on the motor 325HP etc etc. I look in the manual, really no help. . . so where might I look to determine thing like 3.73 or 4.10rear end?

 

if you are looking for data on your 06, i believe the g56 trucks only can with 3:73.

the 03, should have it on the glove box door. they stopped doing that on the sticker sometime after 04.5's

 

Your 06 with 6speed will have the 3.73's. Only way to get the 4.10's with a 6 speed is to special order them and this will also be on the window sticker as an option. If your still not sure, drive it at 70 MPH and your RPM's should be at about 2100 with your tires.

 

g56 only has 3.73 I do not think you could even special order them

i have a 05 g56 with 4.10 rearend and bought it off the lot

 

motrapper whats top speed in that rig 45mph

 

60mph at just under 2 grand and 65mph just over 2 grand not great would like one more gear thou

 

are you positive you have 4.10s I am not trying to burst your bubble but that sounds about what mine was before the tires that was some time ago. The new cab n chassis have 4.10s and g56 ugh
