Where to buy block heater?

My block heater quit working a couple of weeks ago. So I bought a new cord from Geno's and put it in last weekend. Well it is still not working. Any ideas on where would be the best place to buy the block heater?

Cummins has them by the bushel basket. It's a pretty stock element.

Hopefully not alot! I am thinking I will have to drain the anti freeze and put the new block heater in and refill with anti freeze.

You just have to drain down to the freeze plug level. Have you tested yours with a meter?

No, I haven't. I just thought since I replaced the cord and it stills not work it was the heater it self. How would I check it with a meter? I am not real good at reading the multimeter.

Follow the cord to the heater, remove the cord, use a 1 1/8 "or 1 1/4" socket... Not for sure which socket, it's been awhile since I tightened mine...

So it is just a straight heater element that slides in and out of that same hole the cord plugs into?

Can you look at it online bansh? Maybe if you see one online for sale, it would be obvious... Maybe it just screws in. The old ones used to have a toggle and compress in place.

It's just a small unit that bends at a 90 degree angle. should slide right in.
