9 inch wheel will be fine with that size of tire, and it is all to do with offset for the sticking out past the fender part. with a +25 offset you should be ok, less than a 1/4 " sticking out. I had the local tire dealer put one on my truck just so I could see how it would look, then I took a straight edge so i could measure.

take a look at biggegums profile I believe he has pics on there. He also lowered his truck I believe and he has no rubbing problems as fars as I can tell

There are lots of trucks running this size of tire. There isnt even an appreciable difference in ride. They arent mud tires, but if you are mostly highway or city driving they are fine. And as long as you go with a 120 rating (3086lbs) you will be fine for most towing situations.
