What are you getting for trade in value on 03s
Dodgezilla,
If you trade it in, let us know what you get, as I'll probably be trading mine in next month.
I've got almost 12K on the clock, so we'll see what it's worth. Mine's got the SO w/48RE and I haven't had one iota of trouble (knocking on head..er..wood). I just don't need the 3500 DRW anymore.
If the trade in is good, I'm thinking 2500, 373's, CTD, Laramie, auto.

I have not had any problems with my marker lights..... I tell you, I want that yellow truck but I like my truck so much I think I may just have to keep it. I like the GPS option but I can always add one to this truck......
I just checked out the trade in value on mine. There's alot of differences between each site:
NADA- $36,700 ($2K less than what I paid)
KBB- $27,500 (probably more realistic)
Edmunds- $25,500 (It ain't gonna happen)
Now I need to check out the 2500.
Maybe I'll try to sell the 5ver and truck as a package. Who knows?

That's what I found yesterday. I think I prefer the NADA prices..
Well, the truck I was looking at has an automatic trans and that is the only thing I don't want. I'm checking with newDodgeorder.com to see what a special ordered truck would cost

Interesting...typically KBB is way high. I've often found Edmunds to be really close with their private party price. That trade value looks close too. It depends on how they run the numbers. If you get a truck at invoice and keep the rebates (I got mine 1% under invoice + kept all the rebates), most dealers will go wholesale on the trade as well ("wholesale to wholesale"). Once in a while you will find one that can do a little better than that.
You might be better off listing it in the local paper for a couple weeks. My trade sold the next day. I hate to even think what they got for it. Then again, they are advertizing brand new '04.5s for 30K. I would have had to sell mine for just over $28K to make up for the sales tax difference on the trade, so it just wasn't worth it to me.

the problem i found with kelly is they dont list all the options
example they gave me no credit for
1 flat folding floor
2 anti-spin rearend
3 upgrade interior
4 keyless entry
5 trailer tow mirrors
these were over 1000 dollars of options on my window sticker that they failed to even list on thier option list
do they consider these not worth anything now

what will they give you trade?ill tell you how it is here,,,find someone that goes to the sales,,,,ask them what they are bringing,,,thats what youll get on trade.,if they give a little more,,thats because they didnt come down quite as far on theirs........bama
I traded my vibrating '03 for my thirsty '05 last November. Got $26,600 for the '03 with 44k on it. Price down on '05 from $33,580 to $28,600. The '03 S/O 47RE QC LB SLT was gone in less than two weeks. I think I hear him cussing about the vibration now...
I told them about it. Didn't hide it. I wanted it fixed. They kept telling me it was normal.
