What is the better looking dually?

Quad cab or Mega cab?

I like the Mega cab but not the dually version.

For some reason, those smaller rear doors on the Quad cab really make the dually looks wise.

IMO of course.

What's your opinion?

I definately like the Quad cab dually over the Mega dually. Now a Mega cab longbed conversion dually is definately the best.

If they would put a 8ft bed on that Megacab it would get my vote. It just looks goofy with all that cab with a little bittty bed.

I don't like the looks of the Megacab at all because of the tiny bed let alone one with duals. Besides, it makes the truck less practical. The beds need to get bigger, not smaller in my opinion.

I just don't like the look of the Mega at all...period. Not bashing anybody with a Mega, I just think that there is too much cab and not enough of the rest of the truck to make it look proportional. They look OK lifted, but all the folks talking about having a Mega AND a long bed would REALLY hate driving/parking that sucker out here in California...and unless it WAS lifted, it would look like a stretch limo Cummins. Sure, it HAS to be more comfortable for the back seat passengers, but honestly, I don't have passengers in the back often enough to care about how comfortable they are and I've never had a passenger complain.

It's about you and what you like, making it yours etc. It's also about HOW you will use a truck. I chose the Mega because I wanted the interior room and a bed to do small loads of stuff. I'd rather hook a trailer for the big loads. I would have strongly considered a Mega longbed, but AM very happy with what I have. Next year I will be purchasing a 2nd Mega to replace another old ranch truck, theis time it will b the dually. I will get another shortbed even with the offering of a longbed, who knows maybe I'll get a used 2006. I think the dually that has been debadged looks great.

I've been wondering about this myself, could you just get a set of the mega cab dually fenders & bolt them to the srw bed?? are the beds the same, with just the flares added for duallys?? maybe someone who has access to the part numbers could check this out.
