I just got off the phone with Mopar Super Center. I was inquiring about a factory uconnect system to install in my 04.5. He told me the 04's came with a PCI can-bus system, which was changed to something else in 05. He is trying to get some harnesses made with the right plugs for this system, possibly end of January. He told me the system dodge offers does not incorporate the mirror type system. Has anyone here installed a uconnect system in an 04.5 that really works as factoy installed systems? He said when they do get these wiring harnesses, the whole system would run from $560 to $620 for all the parts needed.

There is at least on person here or on that other place that did it. I only know of one. It required harnesses, a control module, a new mirror, some interface with the stereo, and some work. It was done for $6 or $700 dollars I think.
