Turning a 06' MC 3500 SRW into a Flatbed

I'm kicking around the idea of taking off my stock bed and installing a Hillsboro aluminum flatbed. I really like the looks of there aluminum flatbeds, and I like the looks of the duallys with the flatbeds alot, but you don't see many SRW trucks with them. Hillsboros web site show's a few SRW trucks but none from the side or shots from the front.
Anybody got 06' MegaCab SRW with a flatbed out there that wants to share some pictures??

Joe,

You a little worried about your bed kissing your 5th wheel again?

Ya a little Paul, But the first diesel I had was the International Ford diesel, and it was a flatbed 1 ton dually. So I'm prone to flat beds.
Just filling the water a little.
Kobi drops the truck off for Line-X at 10am tomorrow. But if I can have a nice flatbed and a box........I'm all over it. Hillsboro flat bed price's so far are around $3500.00.
We can do alot of camping for that

I havent seen a MC with a hillsboro But the Megacabs look way cool with the skirted CM flatbed I have one on an 07 and I love it. May be worth a look? Its so much better not having to climb in the bed for everything. What ever brand you choose go flatbed you will love it.

Joe has a Pullrite SuperGlide automatic sliding hitch, the best sliding hitch on the market. But the slider wasn't his issue. What happened is he was trying to go over a severe grade brake on an off camber turn and the rear passenger bed rail hit the underside of his 5th wheel. A long bed wouldn't have helped. He was able to stop his rig before too much damage was done. And based on his pic it looks like he has already fixed it.

Thanks man by the time you put BW turnoverball...toolbox and an aftermarket bumper on these you can almost buy the skirted bed it was worth it to not have to climb in and out of the bed all the time.

Nice, I like it Troy. I like the gooseneck ball idea but I'd still need my slider hitch, but that's no biggy. I guess I would also have to make sure the bed sets the same height as it does now. Pullrite does have longer posts for the superrails but there only 1/2" longer. How high is the top of the bed from the top of the frame?
I guess another factor would be total weight too. I wouldn't want to up the rear weight of my truck if I switched to a flatbed. Thats why I liked the idea of the Hillsboro bed, but at starting price of 3500.00, I'd go steel if the weight was rite.
