Re:Tracking Ordered Truck

My dealer in Bartlesville OK. said my truck would be here on May 23. I will see how good they are at tracking my truck down. I sure do hope they are right, the wait is killing me. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, the closer it gets the slower the time passes. The truck was orderd on April 8 it was shipped from the factory on May 8 and is to be at the dealer on May 23. Does this sound about like the proper amount of time? I guess I'm a little skeptical of what these dealers tell us about the arival time of these trucks. :

Re:Tracking Ordered Truck

From the day I ordered to the day the truck arrived at the dealer it took 8 weeks for me and I'm in Michigan so I would guess it would take less transportation time for you. If you keep track of your order as noted above you will at least know where the truck is and that helps in the waiting process.

Re:Tracking Ordered Truck

I ordered mine on 7 April, and got a build date of 30 April. Dealer said it would be here sometime during the week of 19 May. What do ya know, I got a call Friday saying my ship had come in. The sad news is I must now wait until the satellite radio and splash guards are installed before I can pick it up, and with the loooooong Memorial day weekend, that won't be until after Tuesday. My point is, the pick-up arrived when the dealer said it would, which pretty much mirrors my whole experience at Juneks 5 Star in Spearfish S.D. This is not my first experience with them and not once have I been lied to, or left feeling "gyped". That's why I drive over 60 miles to do business with them. They said they would leave it outside, and even send someone down today (Sunday) if I wanted to drive it, take pictures, etc. I am going to drive over and ogle it, but I passed on the driving and stuff for two reasons. 1) I think it would be too tortorous on me and 2) I don't want to ruin anyone at the dealers plans for the weekend just so I can spoil myself. Good things come to those who wait, I guess.
