Question Tracking My Train Car

For those of you who tracked your truck on the train from Mexico...

How long did it take for your truck to get off the train and onto the semi truck? On my itinerary, it gives seven days for the truck to get off the train and be loaded onto a semi truck. This seems way too long to me. Do you think it is?

I am probably a week or two away from delivery at my dealer so I'm getting very excited and can hardly wait!

They give them more than enough time......mine went from the train car to the dealership in 3 days. It all depends on how many vehicles are going to what dealership and where yours falls in line.

I was calling the dealership every day complaining that the rail car had been in town for X days and I still don't have my truck!

It didn't help! I even offered to go down and pick it up........they didn't like that idea.

Assume the worst, 7 days, then be pleasently surprised when it shows up a day or so early.

Mine shows that it will be 11 days from arrival at destination until delivery to dealership. That's a bit much to handle. It's just going to sit there, 8 miles from my house, for 11 days, and then be delivered to my dealership 20 miles away. GRRRR.
