Toyo MT's 295/70/17's

Hey Guys,

I just picked up a set of the Toyo MT's 295-70-17's for my Mega. I had them mounted on my factory wheels and man do they look great. I've been waiting for the release of this tire due to all the rave's I've heard about the Toyo MT. Actuall tire size is 33.5 by 11 wide. They fit the factory wheel perfect with no rubbing from lock to lock.

I've only put about 1 mile on the tires (from the tire shop back to work) so I'll report more as I've been able to drive / use the tires more. So far very glad I waited to get this size.

I forgot how to spell les schwab. I bought a set to Toyo M55 from them and was not that impressed with the tires as people just raved about the milage. I put 14,000 on them when I sold the PowerPuff and I bet the tread was 60 to 70% gone. Also very loud tire, buzzed you right out of the cab. Are the MT's loud? Do you have any Pics of them on your trucks, especially on the Megacab?

the little noise they make is acceptable, cannot hear them in the cab with the windows up. no pic on a megacab. great in the snow and sand too.

Wow, those are the exact tire I want for my truck. They look like bad *** tires. 295 is a perfect compromise between the 285 and 315 height wise. I wanted the extra height to keep the RPM's down, but really didn't want the extra width.

Those look great, nice looking truck dodgezilla. I promised myself I would not spend that kind of $$ on Toyo's again but dang those look perrrrrrrrrrfect on your truck and I like the specs.

Here's a pic of the 295-70-17's on my mega. I've logged about 60 miles on the tires so far. They start whinning a bit around 45mph, but they are not bad at all. going 65 to 75, you do hear them, but they are not obnoxious at all. Ride is great, look is great. fit is great. I think they are keepers!

Truck looks good... I will be installing 33's or 35's. I had 37's on my 05 and loved them!!!
