Smile Tires, I appreciate your opinion

I think my truck is a beautiful machine. Runs great. Looks great. If I was going to make one single change to make it look even better, it would be to replace the tires that came with it (B.F. Goodrich) with larger tires.

I would appreciate some opinions. Larger tires would look better, right? If so, what size would you buy if you were me? How much more do you figure they'll cost? And, how will bigger tires effect my speedometer?

I have 12,500 miles on the current tires, so it will be a while before I put new ones on.

Thanks for your opinions!

Dodge,

Check the earlier threads. There has been a lot of discussion about tires, wheels, traction, lifts, etc.

BFG AT 315s seem to be pretty popular. They fit without a lift and are pretty cheap right now. I was planning on 285s but they cost a whole lot more than the 315s. They have a nice aggressive tread pattern and look great.
I can see where they just barely rub on the inside during a sharp turn but it's not bad at all. Mine also rub on my mudflaps a little but I'm planning on fixing that today if I can bring myself to go outside in the 10 degree weather.....
I got mine at TireRack.com. All said and done, I got my tires shipped, mounted, and balanced for $750.00 and that's for the spare tire too. I don't think thats too bad. Now the truck looks like it should! Check out my pics.....
