Tired of bugs on the radiators?
I think I've found a very cheap way to keep the bugs (in Florida) off the radiators etc. I bought a 36" by 80" (I think) roll of screening at Lowes for under $6 and used regular desk top staples to hold it in place. After cutting to size I wove it between the metal tube frame on the engine side of the grill and stapled it to itself. The screening is not really noticible from the outside and so far it works like a charm catching the smaller lovebugs as well. I will cut it off come winter.
Just thought you guys might find this usefull (if someone hasn't already thought of it)
Jamie
comments anyone?

I guess the same brain cell that tells one to get the best Diesel on the market,
also comes up with the best fixes for the huge holes in the grill.
Many have gone this route, much cheaper than aftermarket bug screens.
Some have even gone as far as making a window screen, frame and all,
to fit right in front of the radiator's.
That's on my to-do list.

I just bought one of the screen door protectors designed to protect screen doors from dogs/cats. It's metal with 1/16 inch holes. It doesn't stop the little bugs, but it's pretty sturdy and will definitely stop big bugs/rocks from bending the fins without restricting airflow.

Just be careful with the screen that you clean it. Restricting air flow puts more strain on your a/c. No air flow causes higher pressures which wear out components sooner and give you no cooling.
I've never covered up the rads and never lost one to bugs. I spray them out periodically.

I just cut a piece of screen big enough to cover the whole radiator/condenser, doubled it up on the ends, wire tied it to the long bolts up top, found some long bolts on the bottom, and did the same thing. I used plastic screening and I can tell you that nothing sticks to this plastic screening! Before the screen I had a radiator full each weekend that I had to hose off. Since the screen install I haven't had to hose it off yet (5-6 weeks).
