Thumbs up Thumbs up to my dealer

I have jad my truck into my dealer about 5 times now for little things such as excessice cranking, white smoke and some rattles here and there and everytime they have fixed it right and done it the first time. I did not even buy the truck there but they treat me as if I did.

This last time I brought it in for a leaking CP3 when cold outside and also a door rattle and hard shifting from park. Service rep called and told me that the pump was not leaking now but they were going to replace it because it shown signs of leaking previously and that he believed me. He also told me that the shifting was pretty good after adjusting but they were nbot 100% happy with it so they ordered some parts to replace the partially worn parts they may act up in the future when the truck is out of warranty. And last he also said that the rattle was from the door panel and that they will need to remove it and install some insulation to remedy the problem.

Also I have a commander installed as well as a trans temp gauge in the srt a-pillar and they never ask or mention about my extra wires in the cab or under the hood.

Great service and work above and beyond what was expected, cannot say enough good things about their service dept. If you are looking for a good service dept in the twin cities area in MN, PM me and I will give you the info.

Sounds like they wait until Chrysler starts to put the hammer down. Until then they don't give a hoot. Too bad I got red flagged.

That's the way it should be. Why oh why can't they all be like that? You can tell that would even be a decent place to work.

Here is a link to what GM is supposedly saying about power enhancements. The post you need to read is by a guy named DUO_CORE.

I know of many trucks that have passed through their service dept that have had some sort power adder and all of them have had no issues with warranty work. This dealer sells a lot of trucks (chevy and dodge) and they know what people do with them and they also know that you need to treat all the same, you warranty one you warranty them all, you deny one you deny all. It is easyier to keep the customer's happy by warranting everything.
They are not stupid though, you keep having the same issue then something needs to happen, they just don't bolt on parts and say a have a good day. As long as you, the customer, are respectful and decent they will return the favor.
