I've got a 2 / 3 month old Retrax Tonneau on my 05 QCab Shorty. I'm discovering that a topper would fit my needs better. I'm wondering what kind of market there is for that top? I'd ideally like to trade it for an A.R.E. Z-series topper. My truck in the Patriot blue, and I've never seen one that color. What is the best way to attack that? What would be a fair resale price for a $972 Retrax Tonneau?

I was quoted $1500 for a new ARE Zseries, is that a good price for a new one, or is that too steep? What did you guys pay for your toppers? (Same model)?

Costco deals with A.R.E, if you pick up one of the automotive brochures as your leaving the store it will tell you how to go about ordering one. I think my Z series was $1200 after the discounts. I sold my 1 year old A.R.E. white Ford shell for $900 in the local paper, so I made out O.K.
