Tell me the exact fix for 03 AC not cooling on passenger side

I realize this topic has been discussed many times, but I need to know what "Part" needs replacing so that my 03's AC will cool on the passenger side. I have discussed this with my dealer, he is willing to fix it under warranty, but does not know what to do to fix it-- . For the ones of you that have gotten this problem fixed--please chime in again... Thanks

I do not know if the later models are "fixed". Maybe someone else will reply.

Blend door repair kit: Can the average Joe install this? Or should I get the dealer to install?

It's not a blend door repair kit!!!!!!!!! First, you have to check for leaks and the overall health of the system. Low on R134a will cause this issue. If you have no leaks then you will need a new condensor, new orifice line with correct size orifice, and recharge the system to 2.00lbs of R134a. I'll have to look up all the info on the BIG A/C thread we had last year to give you part numbers. I think they are on there.

What i get from reading his thread, is that it's cooling on the drivers side, but not passenger side. A low charge isn't going to do this.
PS. Spooler, that's a nice lookin trailer you have there.Longgg.

Let the dealer fix it. If they do have to replace the blend door(there are cases of where the hinge mechanism has broken) you start by removing the whole dash from the interior

Mine was doing the same thing, dealer topped off the charge and fixed it right up.
