Tailgate Woes

Over the holidays I inflicted the 1st damage to my truck by backing into my dozer drag I had propped up on a big rock, I put a big dent into my tailgate just off center to the passenger side.

So does anyone have a light almond pearl metalic tailgate they want to sell that would fit my 05. or does anyone have suggestion on a replacement. I looked at the places on e-bay and have looked at flow throughs but I do alot of work off my tailgate so dont think those are an option, I thought about building one out of 1/4 inch plate but dont think the flimsy bed would handle it.

Thanks in Advance
Brett

Here they have them for 263.00 and they are a great company to do business with. Most of the aftermarket goodies on all of my vehicles come from here!

Your local dodge dealer about 3 in the morning.
Try some aftermarket bed companys. They may have a takeoff available.

The local Walmart parking lot, anytime after dark.

I'd suggest Ebay, but those most likely came from one of the two above locations.

Test drive a new truck and return it with a mysteriously dented tail gate Just kidding. You will find one on e-bay I'm sure maybe not your color but figure on about 250.00 for a repaint. Most take offs are fleet type colors.

Not for one split second !.Never had a claim in my ENTIRE life auto or home. They were like Oh ok will get a check out ASAP no questions.Actually IT IS insured if any kind of damage etc.If stolen it changed the deductable is all. What bothers me is watching for 8 years on Monday mornings after a weekend rain MINOR fender benders pulling into the body shop with folkes wearing neck braces one after another after another.
