Tailgate - how much weight
Don't let the RZR sit directly on the tailgate. Place some 2x6 down to support the front tires that go all the way forward to the back tires. Back it in, weight is more on the back of the RZR.

If not clear enough just ask, been there done that.

Is it good to go down the road on a long trip with that set up?
How ever long you want. Truck will do fine.
If it is an S model it will drive over the wheel wells and be held in place. Standard 50" width will fit between the wheel wells.
Just put some lumber of your choice down 2x whatever width. Hit the road.
