Angry Suspension issue

I have a clanking noise coming from my suspension. It only occurs at speeds of 50-mph and higher and when I hit expansion bumps head on. I had the ball joints and u-joints replaced and I still have the same issue. The sound is similar to what a trailer hitch that is a little loose in the receiver sounds like, but I don't have a hitch on my truck when the sound occurs. Any thoughts? Someone suggested it could be my center sway bar bushings. I don't know if that would be it or how to check to see if that is the problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Just a thought, but a few years back I had a similar issue - when I'd hit a bump at medium speeds, I would also hear a clanking noise from under the truck. It turned out bushings on a new set of Rancho shocks I had installed had come apart and were gone. The noise was from the shock banging into the upper shock mount under the heavy compression. It might be worth checking your shocks.

CHECK YOUR TRANSFER CASE INPUT SHAFT MY O4 HAD THAT SAME NOISE AND I DID NOT KNOW WHAT IT WAS TILL I SPLIT THE TRANSFER CASE OPEN MIGHT NOT BE THE PROBLEM. MINE WAS DUE TO NOT INSTALLING THE Kit, Carrier Bearing Relocation, PART AND IT COST ME A TRANSFER CASE JUST AN IDEA.

Maybe a worn out control arm bushing? You usually can't tell intill you get the trucks weight off of the front axle. I had something simular on my Jeep XJ when the it still had stock control arms.
