Strange Problem

I am new here and have an 04 3500 Ram with an interesting problem....

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting in my truck waiting for my hubby to come out of the parts store. I had the high idle set at the time and all of a sudden the high idle shuts off for no reason. I noticed the speedometer bouncing up and down too. My DH comes back and I get out of the truck so he can look at it and the seat belt light starts flashing on the dashboard and chiming. I drive it back to the house and don''t have any issues performance-wise. The next day....nothing....problem is gone. Its been acting like this for a couple of weeks. It will be fine for several days and all of a sudden act up again. As quickly as it acts up - poof - the problem disappears again. I''''m beginning to think my truck is possessed!!!

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?????

I agree with capp on the re-flash but you could try disconnecting your batteries first, let them sit for about 10 minutes and then reconnect.....it's worth a shot before resorting to a trip to the ***********.

Thank you! I will try disconnecting the batteries first and see if that works!
