5" MBRP cat bak and 6" tip.
I sometimes hear an alarm "chirp" as I'm passing.
I sometimes back up to make sur everything is OK.
Sometimes when I take off the alarm goes off full blast.
Am I doing something wrong??

yep. used to set em off ALL the time when I had the 4" straight dumping out behind the rear tire to the right side. Now, since I went to 6" stacks, not so much anymore...

but... ain't it cool??!!!

It doesn't have to be a straight pipe! My MBRP 4" that dumps out the side sets them off a lot. Just did one yesterday out on the street while idling along. Inside parking garages it's even better.

I agree with RASPY, I had a 4" Dynomax straight through muffler and would set off every alarm I drove past. Kind of funny in some neighborhoods, you would drive down the street and almost every car would be flashing lights and going crazy. I finally changed it out for the long hauls I have to make.

Even with the kitty I'm setting off alarms...

Good thing I have the E-brake to quiet the exhaust when idling out of the complex every morning at 6am...
