Ive been lookin high and low with no luck. I wanna konw what the stock specs are on the wheels that come on an 06 Ram 2500. I bought the truck used and the wheels that are on it stick out past the fender, I dont want that anymore. I want a tire and wheel package thats aggressive yet fits the truck properly. Id like 285/70/17 but I need to know what rim I can put this on to make it fit the way I want! Any help would be appreciated.

 

I have the same size tires on a stock width rim which is 8" and they stick out about an inch from the fenders. Maybe a little less.

 

Wheels are 17x8 and backspacing is 6.25" IIRC (? someone please correct me)


If you tuck in the wheels too much and then put on bigger tires you might have to consider the tire making contact with the control arms.
