Stereo / Audio Gurus............???

I have a Infinity stereo in my truck as described in sig - with steering wheel controls.

Is there any way to add an aux port for an iPod?? Is the OEM stereo even capable of such a maneuver?

Do you have the RAQ 6-CD changer? If so, PAC has a harness that goes into the back of your headunit that will allow aux ports to plug and charge your iPod through. You will also be able to adjust volume, change tracks, and select playlists with your SWAC. The model number is iPAC-CHY.

Here is some info on the unit: http://www.pac-audio.com/instructions/ipac-chy.pdf

I have to go out and take a look at the numbers of the head unit. All I know is it is a 6 disc, Infinity, with steering controls...............no navigation, satellite, rear DVD, or any of that other jazz.

Thanks for the link......I have to read up on all this.

If you have the 6-disc changer without navigation, the iPAC-CHY is what you need. Should do exactly what you are looking for.

Im not sure of that one. Might want to shoot PAC an email or a phone call in the morning and see what they have for you.

I will have to second Bronc on all of the above, and PAC makes the best adapters on the market...

What .boB said, in my case I found the bezel can be removed just by prying it out , no need to remove the cup holders.

I have some considerations to ponder upon. For the price of that package from PAC, I should get in contact with an acquaintance of mine a see what a replacement head unit with a front aux input already in it would be. Nothing fancy, just something compatible with my existing.
