Question Steering Stabilizer

How do you know if your stabilizer is bad? What are the symptoms/actions? Last but not least how do you replace it and do you need an alignment after new install. One more thing what is a good one?

slightly loose steering, wandering, etc.. installation is as easy as two bolts. you don't need to have an alignment done either. it should take about 15 minutes to put one on. i am getting ready to change my stabilizer and shocks, and i only have 5000 miles! the stock steering stabilizer and shocks are really worthless. tuff country makes one i believe, and defiant makes nice stuff (what i am getting). here is a link.
