I will say that my setup has solved all issues with the iffy feeling front end these trucks seem to have. no more DW or any of that stuff going on. I love it!

I will post up some pics in a few minutes. My truck is BONE STOCK! I would suggest this setup for EVERYONE that wants a better feeling and more comfortable truck to drive. Its amazing the feel it has now. WAY better than stock ever thought about being. Plus, the kit with the superlift shocks is only about $170. The Bilstein kit is like $280? Remember, I got a good friend kinda deal on mine though so I got it for a lot less.

Huh,, how bout that. In the article in the Mag, the kit has Fox shocks. Didn't notice it on the website. Must be something the folks at SDHQ added/ammended. Their steering section i guess will be added soon , but here's the website anyways.

It is a pricey kit though, the regular one without the Fox shocks is a little over $600

bummer bout the camera. I do like the bracket that they use. I also like the fact that you have two shocks. after reading the add on carli site i think two is better than one.

Stabilizer mas tarde.

I'm holding off for awhile on the stabilizer. I did, however, cut loose for Defiant's steering gear brace and compatible rockshield along with a Lorenz supplied zinc plated Thuren trackbar. These upgrades seemed more appropriate at this time as I'm running 285's and get next to no feedback hitting street obstacles with the stock emulsion stabilizer shock. Come the 35's and by then Carli's new stabilizer will be available.

OK this may be the answer i was looking for.
I bought a 2006 2500 CC 4x4 Tuesday evening. On Wed i had the crappy looking 265's changed over to 305 Mud Dawgs.
I realize the weight and size of the tires is typicall going to affect over ride driveability but this this is horrible. If I let go of the wheel I can see it slightly moving back and forth. If I am on a rougher road the feedback almost requires 2 hands.
So i guess where I'm going here is will a dual set up help with this? If not I'm dropping back to All terrain 285's. I would prefer not to and i ordered the 2" leveling kit with Pro Comp shocks.
Am I on the right track here -r am I throwing money away.
BTW the the front tires needed less than 3oz to balance, so i dont thnk that is the issue. I plan on running them for a thousand miles or so and then having them rebalanced.

I am having the same problem. My truck feels like its floating and is worse when towing. Truck is walking all over the road and seems hard to keep straight. It feels really easy to turn. Will new shocks correct this. My truck has 79000 miles with original shocks and did notice that the steering stabilizer looks like a little fluid is starting to leak out.

With 79K on the stock shocks for these trucks I would say the shocks are more than done. I would replace them with which ever brand you decide on. I would not go stock again tho, I kinda look at parts wearing out as my chance to replace them with something better. As for the SS sounds like it is done as well. Especially with the larger than stock wheel/tire combo you are running, I would look into an after market one.
