Steering Damper hitting the Diff covery

Hello All. Its been a long time since I have been on here. I have a few issues with my stock 12 3500 SRW with 90,000 miles. I am the second owner and it was well taken care of by an older gentleman. I bought it used and it has zero mods. The steering is slightly sloppy. I did have some cupping on the drivers side front tire. Lately I have noticed an unusual vibration when turning left. I inspected the front steering visually and noticed that the double u bolt bracket on the steering damper is hitting my front differential cover. I have a nice shiny rub on the cover and the steering damper bracket. I am at a bit of odds here, I have heard of the steering components getting bent or being weak enough to bend. I also know the trac bars are terrible so I will replace that with a Moog. What is the easiest way to tell if the tie rod components are bent?
