Question Stage 1 and Stage 2

Are there any difference in benefits between stage one and stage two air intakes and if so what are they.

From my experience, many times a stage one filter "box" works much like the stock air box and picks up from the same location whereas the stage two intakes have modified boxes to pull more and/or colder air. Hope that points you in the right direction. But in general comparison with stage 1 vs. stage 2 intake kits from the same manufacturer, that is going to be the difference.

With AFE IIRC, the stage 1 is minus the torque tube in which case the filter diameter is smaller, as opposed to the stage 2 which has the bigger filter diam and torque tube.
