Speedometer Correction for 35s

Is it possible to correct an 06 truck for 35 in. tires? I went to my local dealer today and had decided to pay them the $35.00 they wanted to do it and they said it could only be programmed to the tire sizes that the factory offered and that they could only get maybe close to getting it accurate. Are they jerking me around? Is there a product available that is capable of doing this for the big tire sizes? I would buy something if not outrageously expensive. Also will the speedo being off have any effect on shift points? Thanks up front for your knowledge, John

Nope, they arent messing with yah. The starscan can only adjust so much.

If your looking to do just the ABS adjustment only look at something like the Superchips Tirepak. I think Smarty may have a tire adj unit only also.

Smarty jr. will do it. And it will add 2mpg and 100 horsepower. Best upgrade you can do.

Bully Dog Outlook will do it, about $399.

I've heard that if you can't do it based on tire size you can on the number of revolutions the tire makes per mile. Have you tried that way yet?

Smarty is undetectable for warranty claims and nobody has had Smarty trouble, but quite a few have had Bully Dog problems on here.

Good point

Just a reminder to the 6.7 guys though, the S67 is not undetectable. NO programmer is.

Thanks to all for the input. I will do some studying on these options. I have not put any guages on yet and was waiting on the Edge Juice CTS which is not going to be available for Dodge trucks until late spring I was told by the Edge people. Also I understand the Edge product will not work for speedometer corrections so I am going to have to rethink this idea also. I am not concerned much with power as much as driveablity and being able to calculate fuel mileage with an accurate as possible odometer. Thanks again, John
