I'm looking to upgrade my ill stock speakers, BUT, I do NOT want to modify the doors to accommodate aftermarkets. What have you all went with?

 

Look at the kenwood spearker upgrade its a direct bolt in.

 

I've got an 06 Megacab and installed Pioneer TS-A6964R A-Series 6"x9" 3-Ways in the front doors, and Pioneer - TS-G1644R - Full Range in the rear doors with a new Pioneer head unit. Probably not the best, but way better than stock, and reasonably priced.

 

To correct myself its a kicker kit avaiable thur MOPAR

 

I don't remember which model Pioneers they are but I put 6x9s in the front doors and 6 inch round speakers in the back doors. Nothing crazy but combined with a new head unit made a noticeable improvement over the stock equipment.

 

crutchfield.com can help out alot. it will tell you if it is direct bolt on or you need a bracket or it wont fit. you dont have to buy from them but get a idea if it will fit or not.
