The guys at fbody warehouse told me that stuff works as well as Dynamat brand- but I wasn't able to find it in my area. It's interesting to hear that it worked for you too- I had wanted to try it out for myself.

It doesnt hold up with heat or cold very well.

If you use it on side or roof panels, it will fall off in hotter/cooler climates.

That and its always smelled whenever ive seen a car with it being used.

Who has installed sound deadening in your truck? Me
What brand of materials did you use? Dynamat Xtreme
How thick of materials can be installed without any problems reinstalling the carpet, door panels, plastic, etc.? I used a single layer - no problems - probably could have doubled up with no issues.
What material can be used on the roof/headliner of the truck? Xtreme sticks well...I believe dynamat makes specific deadener for the roof/under hood/etc, anywhere where the surface may get hotter than normal.
How much money did you spend installing the sound deadening? I did one layer on the whole inside of the truck minus the firewall for about $250 - 2 bulk paks
How long did it take to install? I used up most of a weekend....but that included installation of my stereo system
Is there a noticeable difference for road noise, wind noise, engine noise? My wife noticed....and she never usually notices and mods I do!

Tacohat...
Funny you should ask....I just completed dyna mat "Rattle trap" install. I purchased the 100 sq foot package and it covered my entire cab and the floor twice. Yes is has an asphalt smell when you enter the closed vehicle that has been in the sun, but it has been two weeks and that is going away.
Worth it? Less than $200 for material and I paid $400 for the install. 2 Guys all day to accomplish it. Every single surface of the interior was covered. floors (2 layers), doors, roof, pillars, back and side walls.
It is incredible the difference it makes. I also did the underside of the hood with the b-quiet product. The engine noise is lessened, but the road noise is all but eliminated. Coasting down hill with the engine on idle it is very quiet.
I highly recommend it to all truck owners, what ever product you choose, take your time and you will be very happy with the results. I had done my 99 super duty myself but time constraints kept me from doing this one. Not hard, just time.
