Unhappy So depressed...Paint issues

I wash bi-weekly if not weekly for the most part.

I wax every 2 months.

I Claybar/Paint Cleaner/Synthetic Wax/Carnauba every 6 months.

The past few washes I've been getting her detailed rather than doing it myself. Well last Thursday when I was loading up for camp I noticed a white hazy spot about 6" by 8" on the right rear corner of my rooftop.

Waiting for the guys across from my shop to give me an estimate to repaint/clearcoat the roof.

I guess the Hecho en Mexico trucks don't have higher quality paint? I assumed they would be less stringent on ingredients down there which would equal better paint.

Same here. The clear coat on mine is starting to go just under the third brake light and above the rear sliding glass but nowhere else, looks really bad with a black truck.

I sent an email to Chrysler asking for a goodwill authorization.

The warranty is 5yrs/100k. I'm at 6yrs-1mo. and 80K.

I explained in my email that I have been a loyal customer that has not asked for any goodwill authos in the past. I listed my purchases with them 94 Ram, 96 Ram, 02 Ram, 06 Ram, 06 Pacifica, 08 Patriot and hinted that I hope they can help me because I'd like to remain a loyal customer.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, that went nowhere.

Dodge called and said no way. 3/36 for clear coat, 5/100 for perforation.

Shop across from shop would charge $996.00, they're doing it at $700.00 for me as a favor.

Not good. My neighbor's got a 2000 F-250,jet black with the clearcoat intact which is rare on any vehicle. He's had it detailed yearly from new.
My '07's doing well and I'm five miles from the ocean. Knock on wood.

I used to own a 2000 F350 in the Gold Harvest color which I sold last year. Same thing, factory paint and no clear coat peal. What is even more odd is I now own a 96 2500 4x4 which was a one owner and now has 85k miles on it. It has got its factory black paint on it. Absolutely no issues with any part of the paint at all. It has its share of door dings and scratches but zero paint issues. Our 91 W250 has its factory original white paint and about half has pealed off the truck exposing primer everywhere. It is getting painted in a couple weeks.
