snow plowing

I am going to have the chance to be a sub-contractor on a comerical parking lot. My questions are
1. will these trucks take this kind of use without major failure

2. has there been any reports of structral failure from the plowing

3. what will be needing upgraded I already know about the unit bearings .

I've seen guys with plows on half ton Fords....

Your truck is better than a half ton Ford.

That said, I could destroy your truck in a day using a 9' plow. I could also plow for 10 years using the same plow. So a lot has to do with the operator.

Use care and you'll be better than fine.

You will be fine if you dont abuse the truck. I subbed for years and didn't baby it these trucks can plow a **it load of snow. I wouldnt let someone else drive my truck plowing.
