I just had the latch break off the sliding rear window, the part attached to the glass. When I went to get a new one I found out you have to buy the whole piece of glass that goes in the middle for $120. Does anyone know of another solution other than putting a zip tie on it. So far I have checked with the dealer, glass shops, and auto parts stores.

Well here's an update, the junk yard is the only place to find em.

Just out of curiosity has anyone else had trouble with their sliding rear window latch?

 

Check your local junk yards. Tou might be able to get a complete window assembly that way. If mine ever breaks, I'm going to a non-slider.
