It might be worth it to look at adapting the ones off of a TRX from 07 or 08. We refinished the ones on the farm truck and they are quite beefy, and now have decent paint. The frame should be the same, and may even have the mounting holes already. I have not seen/heard of an aftermarket skid plate.
