Sirius questions

I have a '03 with the 6 disk cd. Am thinking about adding Sirius. Anyone do this? Any tips? Here in So Cal the FM stations are over modulating the bass in the stations all the time. I have the Infinity factory speakers and they used to sound just fine but now I have to turn the bass almost off or there is too much bass. How does the Sirius stations sound?

I have. I installed a wired FM modulator switch to the antenna coax so when the receiver drives the signal the modulator turns off the external AM/FM antenna. The coax connection is located behind the passenger side kick panel. It's still FM quality but without the static.
Here's the modulator I used. Also available at Circuit City and Best Buy.
