Sirius/XM radio, does it work in Canada/Alaska?

Sirius/XM radio, does it work in Canada/Alaska?
I drive the Alcan highway to Skagway and Haines ever year and was wondering if the satellite radio systems work there.<br>Neither are licensed to sell in Canada and neither sell in Alaska.<br>XM has 2 satelites up and Sirius 3. I can't get any answers from either company, just the company line about not being sold there and cannot offer "support" for these areas.
