shut down delay (ISSPRO)
shut down delay (ISSPRO)
Has anyone installed an ISSPRO shut down delay in a 2004.5 3500 .
The ISSPRO unit is controled by EGT off Pyrometer leads.
I'm looking to find out the color of the wire from the ignition switch that you tap into?
The MFG doesn't give that info.
Thanks in advance
Ralph

If you can return it, do it. Get a BD cooldown timer you may have the same wiring issues but when you solve them you have 2 safety features with BD unit. Five minute max shutoff and brake overide to shut it off. I just installed it if you have any ? Email me directly if you wish

I would rather know that the exhaust is cooled enough and no more. with the time based one you either end up not running long enough to cool off or running too long and wasting fuel.
Thanks to both of you
I haven't ordered it yet, but I much prefer temp to time.
The mfg. doesn't tell you which wire and the distributer uses a method of finding the wire I don't like, there is the danger of triggering the air bag.
