Show your front recievers

I'm thinking of adding a front reciever so I can add a front cargo carrier when I have my camper on.

Got any pics of your setup?

No, but I'd like to see them as well. Any worries about radiator airflow with a cargo carrier in front of the grill?

If you don't mind the extra weight and expense, why not just go ahead and put something on there to protect that intercooler, radiator, a/c condenser etc. etc.....and buy a front end replacement that includes a receiver on it?

Ask LuvNaCummins about his recent head on collision with a deer!

Here is my set up with a Ranch Hand. (note the 2'' receiver tube right over the winch fairlead) Many other good brands out there. Personally I like BuckStop the best....but kinda spendy.

I don't have any pics but I use a front receiver made by this company - http://bodiak.net and it works great. It mounts right on the existing tow hooks and has never budged a bit with my rack and stuff attached. Install took about 10 mins.

I found a couple of pics of a Bodiak setup. I think this is what I'm going to do. Much higher that a hidden hitch and can take something like 8k pulling. If I get some paint to match my Khaki truck it shouldn't be to terrible looking.

Steve, where do they sell that Bodiak? I'm looking at getting one to move our trailer into it's spot off the lane, I like how high that one is, my friend has one that fits under the front bumper, looks too low to me, like how that one fits. A guy could weld some tabs on too and mount some lights to it, hmmmm....

Okay, found it, only rated at 500 pounds tongue weight though, 8000 pouund pull is a little light too, my truck weighs that much empty.

Wonder why they don't make something where you remove the tow hooks and mount the bar in it's place?
Seems to be something a guy could make up pretty easily, hmmmm....
