Show Engine Hours

I was talking with a friend at work about engine hours on my Ram. (We were having a discussion about a mechanic wanting to tear down a CAT engine with 800 hrs on it.) He has a psd and ask how I was able to find that out. I went out to his truck not know how it works with Ford and just used the Dodge procedure. Well his started showing all kinds of interesting things like engine oil temp etc. I didn’t fiddle with it long enough to find his engine hours, but it looks like you can get more info out of Fords get up.

Maybe they just need to keep track of all that stuff due to their problems.

FYI...for those who don't know already....With the vehicle off, turn the ignition switch to the on position. Hold the trip button in for about 6 seconds or so and the hours will show. Copied shamelessly from this post
