shift ****

Hey I know this will make me sound like an idiot but, I can't get my shift **** off. I put some pretty good preasure on it to where I was afraid I'd hurt it.

Is there a nut under the shift diagram? Or do I just put more presure on it?

Thanks

Pop out the shift diagram and unbolt it.

To take the **** off, pry a thin screwdriver into the numberpiece on top of the shifter. pop it out. Underneath it will be a nut that is holding it on. Loosen and remove, and loosen the ****. i removed the nut and just threaded the **** back on so i can change it out whenever i want to.
