Service manuals

Anybody know where I can get a Service Manual for my 2004.5 3500? Chrysler wants $225 which seems a little high.

I bought the CD for the service manuals from Geno's. A little cheaper but easier to open and look things up if need be.

I just bought the Haynes Dodge Pick Ups (2002 to 2005) from Geno's - excellent service btw, it came in the mail in less than a week.

It has useful info, and it really helped me get familiar with the various parts and pieces on the Cummins, which is what I wanted. It's not entirely complete - for example, I couldn't find anything on greasing the front drive shaft. But, it has a lot of photos and diagrams, so I can find things that I read about on this board that I'm not familiar with how they look. The Haynes plus this board are going to do what I need.

For reallly detailed info, like major repairs on the engine or transmission, I think you might want something more than the Haynes. The last serious wrenching I did was on air-cooled VWs years ago - but my truck is a whole lot more complicated, and all I plan to do on it myself are maintenance, brakes, maybe a starter motor. A lot of guys here are into major things, it'd be interesting to hear whether they use a manual, or just have the know-how up front.

You can download a copy Edited by Admin

Here is a direct link to the '04. Click on each link to download, when it is done downloading, save it to your computer. When you have all the links saved to your computer, make a shortcut to the welcome file.

DO NOT post Links to copywrite protected materials. it is against FEDERAL law to steal someone elses hard work. If you steal manuals in this manner you are denying the people who invest their time and money in making these things

Cool

I got lucky and found some used manuals on ebay at a decent price.
I like to be able to carry them with me in case something happens on the road and a computer is not available!
