Service manual

Just wanted to know if any of yall have bought service manuals either in cd or hardcopies. What do you think of the ones you have? I will be buying one for my 05 soon.

I bought the cd version for my 05, it was 110$----I wanted the hard copy, but it was 400$---I also have a hard copy for my 92 and I think it was 65$ in 92

Is it the factory manual or some other. I wonder about the quality of the others that are out there.

Takes a little while to download but its the factory service manual.
They have the 06 also.

They are typical level of detail for Dodge service manuals. Some sections are good, others hard to follow. Covers most items, and is big.

I have the CD manual with the hard copy electrical. The CD manual is a large PDF file, and provides the features you get with PDF, like being able to search for a term. Sometimes I find it easier finding things in hard copy. I print the few pages of interest for a project, better than lugging the big book and exposing the laptop to dust and grime.

If you order one, I'd recommend doing it by phone. Six months ago on line ordering was a snap but I had several problems with delivery and double billing. All were straightened out eventually via phone.

The PDF is nice to have the search feature, but when you are out working on the truck, it is nice to have it next to you. If there was a hard copy for my 06 i would have boughtn it by now.
