Saturday I got in the truck and the seatbelt wouldn't latch. I fought it for 5 minutes, then decided just to plug it up to the middle latch. Good thing because the Highway patrol had a roadblock set up by my house enforcing the new seatbelt law. When I got home that night I took it apart, and would you believe that a small lockwasher I had in my pocket came out and slide perfectly into that little slot the belt goes in. I was glad that was all it was, but had I tried to force it I may have tore the entire thing up. It made me wonder though if dealers have to warranty seat belt issues beyond the normal warranties. Anyone ever had to deal with this before?
